RUPA MOOKER

Rupa is an employment lawyer, an award-winning radio presenter and events host. She has championed equity, diversity, and inclusion in the Scottish legal profession throughout her career and continues to drive equality policies and practices at the global law firm she works for.

Rupa presents and produces her own weekly show on Scotland’s only national Asian radio station, Awaz Fm. She is also a regular BBC Scotland contributor and an events host.

She sits on several committees - Law Society of Scotland’s Equality and Diversity Committee, the Scottish Ethnic Minorities Lawyer’s Association (SEMLA) Committee, the Scotland National Advisory committee for Action for Children and the BBC Scottish Advisory Committee on Religion & Ethics. Rupa also volunteers at her local Gurdwara, advising young people on employability and career matters.
