TIP IT BACK: Katie Goh

We Are Here Scotland presents a new series - TIP IT BACK.

TIP IT BACK sees professional creatives join us for online sessions where they give advice, tips and more about their speciailist field and also an idea of their own journey.

We are joined on 2nd March by Katie Goh.

Katie is a writer, the First Person Editor at gal-dem and the Non-Fiction Editor at Extra Teeth literary magazine. She writes about culture and social issues for publications including i-D, the Guardian, VICE, Huck and Crack. Her writing has been shortlisted for BBC Scotland and Wigtown Book Festival’s Anne Brown Essay Prize, PPA Scotland’s Young Journalist of the Year Award and the University of Glasgow’s Kavya Prize. Katie’s essay-length book The End: Surviving the World Through Imagined Disasters was published by 404 Ink in 2021.

Katie will be telling us about her journey but also giving tips on pitching, what she is looking for from new writers and journalists + more.
