AMPLIFI: Theon Cross | Azamiah | Gaïa

Theon Cross has revolutionised the tuba in contemporary jazz. From Sons of Kemet to collaborations with The Smile, Little Simz and Joy Crookes, his playing is rooted in African-Caribbean heritage and pushes sonic boundaries you didn't know existed.

Supporting are two artists who've been part of the AMPLIFI bar show journey. Azamiah, the Glasgow-based nu-jazz band, create this healing experience across moody and light landscapes - their debut 'In Phases' has been steadily building momentum since 2023, and they've been taking stages across the UK and Europe. Their second release 'Two Lands' drops in May.

Gaïa is a French singer-songwriter based in Glasgow who blends nu-jazz, R&B and neo-soul. Deeply influenced by Black music and her mixed heritage, her songwriting is explorative and emotive - she navigates identity and story through her music in a way that's genuinely affecting.

Three incredible artists, one night. Cabaret-style tables available for an intimate experience.
