AMPLIFI: Brownbear | Ria Andrews | Nuna

Brownbear, fronted by award-winning songwriter Matthew Hickman, has moved from AMPLIFI support slot to headlining with a 20-piece Black and global majority ensemble - the first in The Queen's Hall's 45-year history. Their indie-soul sound has seen them support The Libertines, Paolo Nutini and Michael Kiwanuka. Their album 'Demons' hit the Scottish Official Album Chart Top 10 and was longlisted for Scottish Album of the Year - heartfelt lyrics, incredible emotion, melodies that stay with you.

Ria Andrews is an Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter, DJ and multidisciplinary artist who explores emotion through her music, bringing bedroom pop intimacy to the stage as a channel for healing.

Nuna is an innovative neo-soul/jazz-inspired multi-instrumentalist presenting original music on mental health and internal dialogue. Expect rich harmonies, inventive improvisation and intimate lyricism.

This show represents everything AMPLIFI has been building towards.
