Peter Masambuku, also known as PAQUE, is a Congolese-born, Scottish-based rap artist living in Glasgow. He has been rapping for over 10 years and performing for 5 of those years, from supporting some of the biggest names in Hip Hop to headlining his own shows. Paque is currently working on his debut album as well as releasing mixtape freestyles every month. His plan is for his music to showcase his enormous talent and solidify him, again, as the leading man in Scottish Hip Hop.

Ibrahim Dikko AKA ID is a Glasgow-based Nigerian born musician. He has been in Scotland since 9 years old, trained at West College Scotland and Glasgow Caledonian University as a sound production student. Coming off a tour with BEMZ which saw him performing on stages such as the Reading and Leeds Festival. He manages to convey life in Glasgow as a young Black man. He writes and performs with a dynamic presence on stage that captivates his audience leaving you wanting more.

ARUSA QURESHI

Hiba is a Lebanese DJ and selector based in Glasgow who uses club spaces to platform Southwest Asian and North African artists as a celebration of Arab culture. She holds regular radio slots at EHFM and Radio Flouka to showcase the diversity and dynamism of Arabic music.

Arusa Qureshi is a writer and editor based in Edinburgh, and a passionate advocate for diversity and accessibility within arts and culture. She is the current Editor of Fest and the former Editor of The List and writes mostly about music, most recently Flip the Script – a book about women in UK hip hop, published by 404 Ink. Her work has appeared in the Scotsman, Clash, The Guardian, GoldFlakePaint, Time Out, NME and more. She is on the board of the Scottish Music Centre.

Lamaya

Lamaya is a Scottish artist of Nigerian heritage based in Glasgow who takes influence from Neo-Soul, Hip Hop, Grime and Rock n Roll to blend into her own hyperdrill RnB fusion. Curating her own melody and lyrics, her songmanship belies that of young years. LAMAYA’S stage presence is undeniable, kicking off her live career supporting Brooke Combe, and Children Of Zeus at Glasgow’s King Tut’s. By special invitation from the Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights, LAMAYA will be performing for the second time, celebrating Black History Month in the city.
